WIU LEJA to Host Active Shooter Workshop Feb. 28

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration (LEJA) is hosting the Active Shooter Defense Workshop: Practical Responses to Aggression Friday, Feb. 28 starting at 8:15 a.m. at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook in Oak Brook, IL.

The program has been designed to address the needs of individuals who want to protect their classrooms and buildings in the event of an active shooter or an incident of mass harm. Experts from the WIU LEJA program and the Illinois State Police will present information on what educators can do to minimize the impact of a shooting event.
