Vote for WIU: NCAA 6th Fan Championship Round

MACOMB, IL -- Because of the support of Leathernecks fans from around the globe, Western Illinois University has moved into the championship round of the NCAA 6th Fan Competition.

The Fighting Leathernecks advanced in the contest late Sunday night over Arkansas State. Western Illinois is now battling the Brigham Young Cougars for the contest's $100,000 scholarship prize.

Fans can vote for Western all the way to 100k by going to wiu.edu/voteWIU and following the instructions. Vote for WIU by typing in the captcha code over ... and over and over ... again.

For making the Sweet Sixteen cut, Western earned $10,000 toward the University's general scholarship fund.
The institution with the most votes by 3 p.m. (CT) Sunday, March 16 will win the championship. Fans may also continue voting once per day via Facebook and Twitter (by using the hashtags #6thFan #WILL) and or multiple times via 6thfan.ncaa.com (or wiu.edu/voteWIU).
