WIU Students Earn RCEC Academic Scholarships

MACOMB, IL -- Two Western Illinois University students were awarded academic scholarships by the Residential Construction Employers Council (RCEC) in Oak Brook, IL.

Kristopher Jensen of Herscher is the recipient of a $1,000 RCEC scholarship. He is a sophomore manufacturing engineering technology major specializing in construction management with a management minor.

Christopher Swan, also a sophomore manufacturing engineering technology major specializing in construction management with a management minor, is the recipient of a $2,000 scholarship. Swan is from Schaumburg.

The students were recently recognized at the College of Business and Technology awards banquet. The Residential Construction Employers Council of Oak Brook has a strong commitment to education, and is a valuable source of internship and scholarship opportunities for WIU students pursuing construction management.
