Markley Services Set

MACOMB, IL -- Services for Jerry Markley, retired Western Illinois University Television Services Broadcast Engineer, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at the First Christian Church in Carthage. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage. Markley, 67, died Oct. 5.
Markley, a WIU alumnus, retired in 2012 after 30 years. He was currently working as a broadcast engineer for KMDY in Carthage and PBS. Markley served in the U.S. Army overseas in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Trish, of Carthage; five children, Teresa, Aubrey, Autumn, Max, and Aria; twin brother, Gary, and sister, Dee McBride.
