Notice to Campus Community: Off Campus Battery Reported by MPD [Posted 10/18/14]

MACOMB, IL -- The Macomb Police Department (MPD) is investigating the report of an aggravated battery that occurred off campus in the early morning hours Saturday, Oct. 18.

A female reported to MPD that she was walking in an alley near the 500 block of West Elting Street when she was approached, and struck, by a male unknown to her. The suspect also attempted to remove an article of her clothing. The suspect is described as a white male, 6' tall, with a medium build, pale skin and dark hair and dark eyes. The female reported she was able to break free and run from the area.
