Doubet Awarded Centennial Honors Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – Cuba High School senior Kaylee Doubet, of Cuba, IL, has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which awards $10,000 per year to academically high-achieving students.

High school students with an ACT score of 30 or higher and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.

Doubet said she expects to major in pre-pharmacy at Western.

"I believe Western has an amazing program for many majors, and I know many people who have attended Western that only have positive things to say," Doubet said.

After graduation, Doubet would like to attend graduate school and become a pharmacist.

In high school, Doubet participated in FCCLA, student council, softball, National Honor Society, Spanish club, peer assistance and was a class officer, yearbook editor and art club treasurer.
