MACOMB, IL — The Western Illinois University Collegiate Farm Bureau is hosting a screening of the 2014 documentary "Farmland" at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 in Morgan Hall 109. All WIU students, faculty members and staff members are invited to attend.

"'Farmland' shows different aspects of the agriculture industry and explains where your food comes from and how food is grown," explained WIU Collegiate Farm Bureau President Jenny Jackson (senior, ag major, Jacksonville, IL). "Our goal is to provide students, faculty and staff with the information they want about food production."

Jackson added that agriculturists will be on hand after the screening for discussion about the film and the agriculture industry.

The event is sponsored by the WIU Collegiate Farm Bureau with assistance from the McDonough County Farm Bureau.
