20th Annual Gardener's Day March 28 at WIU

MACOMB, IL – The 20th annual Gardener's Day will be held Saturday, March 28 at the Spoon River College Outreach Center on East Jackson Street in Macomb.

The event, sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension and the McDonough County Master Gardeners, will feature 12 classes taught by horticulture experts and professionals. Classes run from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and feature topics ranging from plant care and landscaping to garden and orchard information.

This year's event is $30, if registered by March 1, or $40 after March 1. A half-day option is also being offered this year for $20, but does not include lunch.

A variety of vendors will be available during the event, and door prizes will be awarded.
