Additional Operating Funds Released

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University President Jack Thomas has approved the release of an additional 20 percent of unit operating funds for FY'15. This will bring the total released to units to 95 percent of the amount budgeted for this fiscal year.
"Despite the serious economic times we face this year, I need to make sure that departments and other units have sufficient operating funds to meet their commitments this year," Thomas noted.
The remaining 5 percent of operating funds will be held in reserve to help cover the cost of any additional state mandated rescission yet to be announced.
