MACOMB, IL – The Leatherneck Success Team (LST) is a group of Western Illinois University students who help fellow students study for upcoming exams, promote good study habits and provide motivation to work on academics.

Senior exercise science major, Nadia Barrera (Chicago, IL) who is a member of LST said, "I think LST is a great initiative and is a great opportunity to get ahead in all classes."

Assistance is free and available Monday-Thursday each week for students is any academic program.

Locations and times include: 4-7 p.m. at the Multicultural Center- Second floor study room, and 7-10 p.m. in Tanner Hall- First Floor Student Success Center and Bay-Henn- Underground Student Success Center.

"I believe that studying in a resident hall room is not always the best location because it can be easily distracting, but going to study with the Leatherneck Success Team provides a friendly atmosphere to get work done. LST is an initiative to get students on the right path in their academics at WIU," said Barrera.
