BOT Meeting Set for Dec. 18

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will consider a staff reduction authorization resolution, a new tuition recommendation, capital budget recommendations and the demolition of Higgins, Lamoine Village and East Village at the Friday, Dec. 18 Board meeting in the University Union Grand Ballroom on the Macomb campus.

The WIU Board's open meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Friday. A scheduled closed session, in accordance with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17 in the Corbin-Olson e-classroom.

Other items on the Board agenda include a Western Hall lower bleacher replacement, property easement, the annual auditing department charter, the second reading of contract modifications and revisions to Board bylaws.

The Board will also hear reports on enrollment, retention and graduation rates, FY'16 performance, facility assessment, the FY'16 master plan update and long term planning.
