Koester Obituary

MACOMB, IL – A memorial service for retired Western Illinois University Building Service Worker Catherine Koester will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20 at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb.
Cremation has been accorded, and burial of ashes will be in Bushnell Cemetery at a later date.
Koester began working at WIU in January 1981, and retired in January 2010. She is survived by her husband, James, as well as a son, stepson and stepdaughter, two brothers and her grandchildren.
