Golemon selected for Centennial Honors Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – High School senior Hayden Golemon, of Brimfield (IL), has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which awards $10,000 per year to academically high-achieving students.

High school students with an ACT score of 30 or higher and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.

Golemon hopes to major in Spanish education. While at Western, he plans to participate in extra-curricular activities such as track and field.

When deciding to attend Western, Golemon stated, "Western has an excellent scholarship program and great educational programs."

In high school, Golemon participated in track and field, football, basketball, musicals, WYSE and Boy Scouts.
