Knoblauch Cafe Spring Semester Menu

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Knoblauch Café will serve nutritious lunches from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each Tuesday throughout the spring semester.

The meals are organized and run by students in the WIU Department of Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality (DFMH). The Knoblauch Café provides students with hands-on experience running a foodservice facility. It is located in the Knoblauch Corporate Dining Room 239.

Every meal is $7, which includes beverage and dessert. Carry out and delivery is available within Knoblauch Hall.

Tuesday, Feb. 21
Turkey and bacon panini/caprese panini with pesto and fresh mozzarella, broccoli cheese soup, salted caramel cheesecake cupcake

Tuesday, Feb. 28
Chicken quesadilla/veggie quesadilla, black bean and corn salsa with tortilla chips, turtle crepe

Tuesday, March 7
Lemon chicken piccata/veggie piccata, mixed green salad with poppy seed dressing, linguine noodles , garlic bread , chocolate torte

Tuesday, March 21
Lasagna/vegetarian lasagna, Caesar salad, breadstick, Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownie sundae

Tuesday, March 28 (Mardi Gras)
Chicken Caesar wrap/veggie wrap, baked potato soup, Mardi Gras cupcake

Tuesday, April 4
Chicken fettuccine alfredo, strawberry salad, cheese biscuit, fruit pizza

Tuesday, April 11 (Easter dinner)
Herbed pork tenderloin/vegetable, stuffed portobello mushroom, twice baked potato, green bean casserole, chocolate mousse

Tuesday, April 18
Turkey club/veggie club, Oriental salad, gooey butter cake

Tuesday, April 25
Bow tie pasta with tomato cream sauce, bruschetta, Olive Garden salad, cherry turnover
