Warrior Dog Dash Set for April 22

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University's Lincoln, Washington and Grote halls will host the third annual "Warrior Dog Dash" from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 22 in the Linc-Wash-Grote "backyard" (grassy lawn and disc golf course behind Lincoln and Washington halls).

The event will feature an obstacle course in which individuals will compete for the fastest time and prizes, including gift cards to local businesses. After racing through the course, participants can enjoy a variety of snacks, music and entertainment.

Registration is available the day of the event and is $5 per person.

All proceeds from the event will support the Warrior Dog Foundation, which seeks to assist Special Operations Forces K-9 dogs that have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The foundation is a non-profit and rehabilitates all canines that return from active service after being wounded physically or mentally.
The event is open to the public.
