MACOMB, IL – The annual Corbinstock event, presented by the Corbin and Olson residence halls at Western Illinois University, will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, in the Corbin-Olson parking lot.

The event will feature live music by "Backtrack," an a cappella group from New York City, NY. Their performance is sponsored, in part, by the University Union Board and will feature a variety of music, with an emphasis on covers of today's top pop music.

The event is open free to the public, but donations will be accepted for Genesis Garden, a Macomb agency whose focus is:

- Providing emergency homeless services

- Making sure all residents of McDonough County have access to food, including helping low-income families access fresh and healthy vegetables

- Providing safe, free and healthy out-of-school activities for children in McDonough County

For a suggested donation of three pantry items, which will be donated to the Western Illinois Regional Council (WIRC) in Macomb, attendees will be able to build their own stuffed animal. Suggested pantry items include cereal, instant oatmeal, canned fruit, Hamburger Helper, pasta, pasta sauce, flavored instant potatoes or shampoo.
