"The Mountaintop" Play Showing April 29

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will sponsor a screening of "The Mountaintop" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 29 in Simpkins Theatre.

"The Mountaintop" is an award winning play that takes place in room 306 of the Lorraine Motel on the night Martin Luther King Jr. was killed.

There will be a discussion of the movie and its message after the showing.

The showing is open free to the public. Donations are encouraged and will benefit the WIU chapter of the NAACP.
