WIU Seeks Feedback from Alumni at 5/31 Summit
May 25, 2017
MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University-Quad Cities will host an Alumni Summit at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, as an opportunity for any WIU graduate living in the Quad Cities area to share feedback about the future of WIU.
The event will include a presentation about the University's current programs and regional impact, followed by an interactive session to solicit participants' feedback on opportunities and challenges.
"We value our former students' input, and we hope to hear from our graduates," said Joe Rives, vice president for WIU-QC and planning. "These summits, which we'll be hosting throughout the the state of Illinois, give WIU officials a unique opportunity to hear directly from alumni on hopes and concerns for their alma mater, or any kind of feedback they want to provide about their educational experiences at WIU. In turn, these events also give alumni a chance to learn about exciting new programs and growth opportunities at Western."
The hour-long event will be held on the QC campus's Riverfront Hall, Rooms 103/104, and will include refreshments.
