BOT to Consider FY18 Preliminary Spending Plan

MACOMB/MOLINE IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will consider the University's FY18 preliminary spending plan at the Friday, June 9 meeting at the WIU-Quad Cities Riverfront campus in Moline.

The WIU Board's open meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Friday in Riverfront Hall, rooms 103/104. A scheduled closed session, in accordance with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 8 in Building C, room 3420A on the WIU-QC Riverfront campus.

The Board will also consider the temporary use of Auxiliary Facilities Systems (AFS) funds, tenure recommendations, the presidential assessment/contract, the implementation of the Higher Values in Higher Education Academic Year 2017-2018 Supplement and the 2017-2022 IT Strategic Plan. The Board will also elect officers for the 2017-2018 year.

The Board will hear reports on contributions, academic program changes and academic curricular and administrative changes and the Higher Learning Commission: Western Illinois University Quality Initiative, an update on long-term planning and an update on the President's Executive Institute.
