GALESBURG- Western Illinois University seeks area educators and administrators to share their feedback during a meeting Thursday, Nov. 30 at Lombard Middle School.

According to Joseph Rives, WIU vice president for Quad Cities and planning, all area educators are invited to attend the 3 p.m. session, which will offer attendees an overview on programs within Western's College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), as well as an opportunity to provide feedback on opportunities for new programs or course offerings.

As part of the WIU President's Executive Institute (PEI), Rives and representatives from the University's colleges are in the process of traveling throughout the state of Illinois and to St. Louis to host these conversations in an effort to connect with educators, community leaders, and alumni to sustain and grow Western's economic and educational impact in the region.

"We value our area educators' input, and we hope to hear from school leaders, counselors and teachers on how we can continue to meet their and their students' needs," Rives said.
