Screening of 'He Named Me Malala' Nov. 28 at WIU

MACOMB, IL — The Western Illinois University Center for International Studies and the WIU Women's Center will screen the documentary "He Named Me Malala" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 in the University Union's Sandburg Theatre.

Following the screening, a discussion will be held.

Malala was raised in Pakistan, and was shot by the Taliban after becoming an advocate for education for women. She survived the attack and continues her fight around the world for education.

This event is open free to the public.
