Altered Sound Duo To Perform Feb. 3

MACOMB, IL - -Western Illinois University's School of Music will present a guest recital at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The recital will feature Altered Sound Duo. The group is committed to promoting contemporary repertoire for saxophone and percussion. Chris Murphy plays the saxophone and Nick Fox plays the percussion.

They will perform works by contemporary composers Hong-Da Chin, Amy Williams, Jeff Herriott, Alex Mincek and WIU Professor of Theory and Composition James Romig.

The recital is open free to the public.
