WIU-QC to offer Graduate Studies Open House March 24

MOLINE - Western Illinois University-Quad Cities will host an open house for anyone interested in pursuing graduate study, as well as celebrate the 75th anniversary of the WIU School of Graduate Studies, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 24 on the WIU-QC campus.

The event is free and open to the public and will include refreshments and lunch. RSVP is required by March 21.

The event will include a welcome and program, graduate program information sessions, campus tours, raffles, and a performance by the President's International String Quartet.

According to Kellie Larrabee, graduate admissions counselor, WIU-QC offers 28 graduate programs including post-baccalaureate certificates, master's degree programs, and a doctoral degree. Programs are delivered through classroom, hybrid, and online learning platforms. A list of graduate offerings at WIU-QC can be found at wiu.edu/qc/academics/graduate.php.

"This celebration is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing graduate education, from current students considering graduate studies to local professionals seeking to advance their education and career opportunities," Larrabee said. "We look forward to welcoming prospective students and honoring the rich tradition of graduate-level education at WIU."
