James Prange Obituary

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University Professor Emeritus James Prange passed away Feb. 24. A graveside service will be held at a later date in New Douglas, IL.
At Western, Prange served as an associate professor and associate director of broadcast and educational television, retiring in 1986 after 29 years. He also worked with the state of Illinois to develop and fund the Illinois Public Television Network.
Prange is survived by his children, Rebecca, Margaret, Amy and Robert, and his grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Douglas, IL, or to scholarships at Western Illinois University, in care of the WIU Foundation, 1 University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455.
