MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Forestry Club will offer treatments to protect local ash treats from Emerald Ash Borers (EAB).

The treatments must be done proactively to prevent EAB from killing the trees. The EABs are a threat to the life of the tree and once a tree is infested with the disease, the only responsible way to react is to remove all or part of the tree.

For estimates to treat ash trees, call (309) 298-1160 and leave a message, email PH-Blome@wiu.edu or KN-Johnston@wiu.edu or message the club on Facebook at facebook.com/wiuforestryclub/.
