Sharp to Present Graduate Recital Saturday in COFAC Recital Hall

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University School of Music will present a ​graduate recital, featuring ​Catherine Sharp, trumpet, and pianist Minjung Seo, ​at 5 p.m. Saturday​, ​March 31 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
 
Sharp, a graduate student from Nashville, IL, is from the studio of Professor Bruce Briney and performs this recital in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a Master of Music degree in trumpet performance. Minjung Seo is a staff collaborative pianist.

This performance will also feature Amanda Ensign, soprano, a graduate student in vocal performance from the studio of Assistant Professor Penelope Shumate; Associate Professor Terry Solomonson, tuba; and the LaMoine Brass Quintet, the School of Music's resident quintet featuring Professor Bruce Briney, trumpet; Teaching Support Assistant Catherine Sharp, trumpet; Profesor Randall Faust, horn; Associate Professor John Mindeman, trombone and Solomonson, tuba.
