BOT Meeting Set for June 7-8 at WIU-QC Campus

MACOMB/MOLINE IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will consider the University's FY19 preliminary spending plan at the Friday, June 8 meeting at the WIU-Quad Cities Riverfront campus in Moline.

The WIU Board's open meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Friday in Riverfront Hall, rooms 103/104. A scheduled closed session, for the purpose of considering matters provided for in 5 ILCS 120/2c, including personnel, collective bargaining, litigation and real estate, will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 7 in Building C, room 3420A on the WIU-QC Riverfront campus.

The Board will also consider the tuition for military personnel, tenure recommendations, the presidential assessment/contract, purchases over $500,000 and the implementation of the Higher Values in Higher Education Strategic Plan 2017-2022. The Board will also elect officers for the 2017-2018 year.

The Board will hear reports on contributions, academic program changes and academic curricular and administrative changes, as well as updates on the statewide budget context and WIU's planning and on the President's Executive Institute.
