AOD Resource Center Offering Bystander Training

MACOMB, IL – The Alcohol and Other Drug Resource Center at Western Illinois University will host bystander training from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.18, in Seal Hall, room 317.

The purpose of "Step Up! A Prosocial Behavior and Bystander Intervention Training Program" is to raise awareness of helping behaviors, increase motivation to help, develop skills and confidence in responding to problems or concerns and to help ensure the safety and well-being of others.

The program is free and participants will receive a certificate for participation.
