MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University Accountant 1 Robert O'Bear has been named the Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month for September.

O'Bear began his career at Western in September 1995 as an Account Technician III in the accounting office. He was audited to his current position in September 2001.

"Bob works so hard to make the accounting office run smoothly," said his nominator. "He is dedicated to helping others process paperwork and have it completed in a timely manner.
