Wind Ensemble Veterans’ Concert Nov. 10 at WIU

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the Wind Ensemble Veterans' Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
This special performance by the WIU Wind Ensemble, conducted by Director of Bands Mike Fansler, will feature honored guests, including the VFW Post 1921 and American Legion Post 6 Honor Guard; Navy Petty Officer Second Class Ron Rhodes; guest conductor Sgt. Michael W. Walker; and guest soloist WIU Assistant Professor Penelope Shumate, soprano.
The performances will honor veterans in this program, which includes:
