Update: WIU Hanson Field Closed to Public Through April 22

UPDATE: Hanson Field remains closed through Monday, April 22.

MACOMB, IL -- To prepare for The Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be held at Western Illinois University May 8-10, all of Hanson Field, including the track and field areas, will be closed from Saturday, April 13-Friday, April 19.
Facilities Management and Athletics staff will begin prepping the track area April 13, including restriping lanes and other necessary maintenance to ensure compliance and an outstanding field experience for the athletes, said Interim Athletic Director Danielle Suprenant.
Hanson Field should reopen to the public on Saturday, April 20.
