WIU-QC Offers New College of Business and Technology and Engineering Scholarships

MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University-Quad Cities recently unveiled two new scholarships to be offered to incoming freshmen and transfer engineering and business students in Fall 2019.

Students attending WIU-QC will be rewarded for their participation in extracurricular activities in STEM (*science, technology, engineering and math) and business clubs with scholarships. The first 50 incoming freshmen and transfer students who have participated in programs like Math Club, First Lego League, Robotics, Entrepreneurship Club, 4-H, eSports, etc. will be eligible for the STEM-B Scholarship ($500) or the STEM-Volunteering Scholarship ($500).

Interested students must complete an application and meet activity and academic requirements, which include enrollment at WIU-QC with a 3.0 high school GPA/20+ ACT or 2.75 community college GPA.
