Allen R. Black Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Funeral services for retired Western Illinois University Building Service Worker Allen R. Black, of Colchester, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home, and a private family burial will be held at the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, IL.
Black passed away Monday, Aug. 29 in Colchester.
He began working at WIU in October 1985, and was employed as a Building Service Worker for 30 years.
Black is survived by his wife, Paula; one daughter, Kerri; several step-children; and seven grandchildren.
