Rocky's Great Leatherneck Campus Block Party May 3

MACOMB, IL – Rocky's Great Leatherneck Campus Block Party, an end of the year celebration for Western Illinois University students, faculty and staff, will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, north of the University Union.

A free lunch of hot dogs, chips and soda will be provided, as well as a Kona Ice truck and various ice cream treats. There will also be giveaways for students, including mini Rocky stuffed animals and sunglasses, as well as a celebrity dunk tank.

WIU offices hosting activities at the event include: Athletics, Campus Recreation, Fraternity and Sorority Life, the University Union Board and the Multicultural Center.

The event is sponsored by the University Union, WIU Athletics, the WIU Foundation, the Council on Administrative Personnel, the Provost's Office, the College of Business and Technology, the College of Fine Arts and Communication, the Multicultural Center, Campus Recreation, the Office of Student Engagement, Fraternity and Sorority Life and University Housing and Dining Services.
