Students Present Summer Projects at John Deere

MACOMB, IL -- Five Western Illinois University students who participated in the John Deere information technology co-op/summer training program recently presented their summer projects to John Deere and Western administrators.

Western's students were among 36 participants from 12 colleges and universities in Illinois, North Carolina, Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin selected for the summer program. They made their presentations Aug. 2 at the John Deere World Headquarters in Moline (IL).

Representing Western Illinois were Shirene Garner, a senior information management major from Franklin (IL); Kevin Lawson, a graduate computer science major from Peoria (IL); Greg Roth, a junior computer science major from Morton (IL); and John Sonneville and Michael Stone, senior information management majors from Moline (IL).
