WIU Offers CPAexcel Review In Macomb, Quad Cities

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University will offer the CPAexcel Review course beginning Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23-24 at the WIU-Macomb and the WIU-Quad Cities campuses.
Programming will being with an introduction to the CPA review by Western Illinois CPA Review Coordinator and Accountancy Associate Professor Gregg Woodruff from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday (Jan. 23) in Horrabin Hall 82 on the Macomb campus and Room 114 on the WIU-QC campus.
All classes will originate from the Macomb campus and be simultaneously broadcast to participants in WIU-QC via video conferencing. Saturday classes will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Programming will include the following auditing sessions:
Friday, Jan. 23 – Auditing 1
Saturday, Jan. 24 – Auditing 2 and 3
Friday, Jan. 30 – Auditing 4
Saturday, Jan. 31 – Simulation 1 (mock exam)
Financial, accounting and reporting (FARE) sessions:
Friday, Feb. 6 – FARE 1
Saturday, Feb. 7 – FARE 2 and 3
Friday, Feb. 13 – FARE 4
Friday, Feb 20 – FARE 5
Saturday, Feb. 21 – FARE 6 and 7
Friday, Feb. 27 – FARE 8
Saturday, Feb. 28 – FARE 9 and 10
Friday, March 6 – Conclude FARE 10
Saturday, March 7 – Simulation 2 (mock exam)
Regulations (REG) – business law and taxation – sessions:
Friday, March 13 – REG 1
Saturday, March 14 – REG 2 and 3
Friday, March 27 – REG 4
Saturday, March 28 – REG 5 and 6
Friday, April 3 – Simulation 3 (mock exam)
Business economics (BEC) sessions:
Friday, April 17 – BEC 1
Saturday, April 18 – BEC 2 and 3
Friday, May 1 – BEC 4
Saturday, May 2 – Simulation 4 (mock exam)
