CBT Luncheon Talk to Address Regional Economic Outlook

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University's College of Business and Technology (CBT) and the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Development Corp. (MACCDDC) will present the "The 2009 Outlook: Implications for the U.S. and Western Illinois" at 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at the Macomb Country Club. Rick Mattoon, a senior economist and economics adviser at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will speak at the luncheon presentation. Check in time is 11:30 a.m. on the day of the event.

The presentation will examine the local industry structure to uncover clues about how the western Illinois region will respond to the challenging economic environment. The presentation will close with time for questions from the audience.

Cost for the event is $15 per person; checks should be made payable to MACCDDC. Deadline to register is March 4. Entrée choices include spinach salad with grilled chicken or a prime rib sandwich. Send registration fee: MACCDDC, P.O. Box 274, Macomb, IL 61455.
