MACOMB, IL -- A fun time for all will be "in the bag" this Saturday. Western Illinois University's Marketing Club and McDonough County Big Brothers Big Sisters will hold the Third Annual "Bags for Bigs" bean bag or "bags" tournament, which is slated to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18 in Macomb's Chandler Park. The single-elimination tournament's proceeds will be donated to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation.

According to Sam Dever (Canton, IL), a senior marketing major and member of WIU's Marketing Club, two-person teams can register online at wiu.edu/marketingclub. The entry fee is $10 per team before April 18, and teams can also register the day of event beginning at 10:30 a.m.; entry fee for teams that register on April 18 will be $15.

For WIU students on the Macomb campus this week, team registration will also be available in the lobby of Stipes Hall between 10:30 a.m.–1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16.

"There is a $100 first prize and a $50 second place prize," said Dever. "There will also be food and raffle contests. If you're looking for something fun to do with your dad and family for WIU's Dad's Weekend, this is the perfect event," he added.
