WIU Department of Military Science to Unveil Memorial, Honor Walls Friday

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Department of Military Science will hold an unveiling of its new memorial and honor walls at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21 in Horrabin Hall.
The wall is located just outside the department's offices at 103 Horrabin Hall on the WIU-Macomb campus.
The memorial wall honors those who have passed away who made a significant impact on the department, including COL(R) Leo Manning, G. Edward Fogelman, LTC Robert Baldwin, CPT Derek Dobogai, Donna Konkler and Kyle Russell.
The honor wall celebrates any WIU graduate, from any branch of military service, who has attained the rank of general. Those names currently include MG David Kratzer, MG Dennis Celletti, BG Charles Fleming, BG Robert Pratt, BG James Schroeder, BG Vincent Stewart and BG Roy Webb.
