Notre Dame Math Professor to Speak at WIU Thursday

MACOMB, IL – University of Notre Dame Professor Julia Knight will present "How Hard is it to Compute the Floor Function" at Western Illinois University Thursday, Nov. 14 at 3:45 p.m. in Morgan Hall, room 204.
The presentation is part of the WIU Department of Mathematics' Colloquium Series and the event is open free to the public. Refreshments will be served at 3:30 p.m.
Knight is the Charles L. Huisking Professor of Mathematics and the director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Mathematics at Notre Dame. Her research interests are in logic and computable structure theory.
