WIU Commissioning Ceremony is May 9

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Department of Military Science will host its commissioning ceremony for cadets at 4 p.m. Friday, May 9.
The ceremony, which will be held in the Heritage Room of the University Union, commissions second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. A reception will follow in the Prairie Lounge.
There are typically three commissioning ceremonies per year, in May, August and December.
