MACOMB, IL — The annual Western Illinois University Law Enforcement and Justice Administration (LEJA) Career Fair is set from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 in the University Union Grand Ballroom. The fair is open free to WIU students, alumni, as well as the public.

More than 50 agencies will be recruiting for full-time employment and for internships. Students from all majors are welcome to attend the fair. According to Michelle Howe, assistant director in WIU's Career Development Center, some agencies are looking for students with backgrounds in psychology, sociology, social work, natural resources, as well as students studying in other majors and minors.

"We encourage attendees to dress professionally, bring multiple copies of résumés and to research the organizations individuals plan on visiting at the fair," she said.

A list of participating agencies is available at www.student.services.wiu.edu/careers/fair/companies.asp?fairID=28.

The LEJA Career Fair is co-sponsored by the WIU Career Development Center and the School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration. For more information, contact (309) 298-1838.
