Art Gallery Hosting 'Improv Play & Clay'

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Art Gallery will host "Improv Play & Clay," a student-centered and student run event, from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3.

The free event will feature improvisational performances by "The Surgin' General," a group made up of WIU Department of Theatre and Dance students. Assistant Professor of Art Ian Shelly's ceramics students will lead several activities and students of Instructor Jeremy Robinett, of WIU's Department of Recreation Park and Tourism Administration (RPTA), will host the event.

The program will feature art, fun with Play-Doh and doodle books, as well as coffee, cocoa and snacks.
