MOLINE, IL – A senior-level, student-lead marketing management class at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities is hosting "Back to the Future," an event welcoming seniors and retirees from the community to tour the WIU-QC campus and learn about resources available to college students.

"Back to the Future" will be held from 2-4:30 Friday, April 24 at WIU-QC., 3300 River Dr., Moline. The event, which is open free to the public, will feature tours of campus, college activities, and participants will be eligible to win prizes.

The event's organization and promotion has been a learning opportunity for senior-level students in the marketing management class to learn about event planning and execute promotional strategies. Students have worked in committees to develop an event theme and form a timeline for event organization.

"We continue to plan the event and are confident it will be a success," WIU-QC senior MacKenzie Bisby, of Muscatine, IA. "The students are optimistic about 'Back to the Future' and hope many local seniors and retirees will attend and enjoy this opportunity to see what our modern, college campus has to offer."
