MACOMB, IL — Western Illinois University's Horn Field Campus has its very own day! Macomb Mayor Michael Inman recently presented Mindy Pheiffer, program coordinator at HFC, and Dan Yoder, chair of the WIU Dept. of Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration (RPTA), with a proclamation that declares Saturday, Sept. 26 as "Horn Field Campus Day" in Macomb.

The date coincides with the second annual Lodge and Libations event, which celebrates the golden anniversary of the field campus being part of WIU and is a fundraiser for a new outdoor education building on the 92-acre HFC.
