Computer Science Professor to Speak at WIU-QC

MOLINE, IL – Western Illinois University-Quad Cities Computer Science Professor Doug Druckenmiller will deliver the lecture, "Sleeping Dragon Lessons," at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 on the WIU-QCs campus. Druckenmiller will lecture in room 111 of Riverfront Hall.

Druckenmiller is speaking as part of the "Last Lecture" series, which features a WIU-QC faculty member or administrator each month. They are asked to speak about lifelong experiences and the lessons they've learned.

Druckenmiller has 29 years of teaching experience, including 11 years as a faculty member at WIU-QC. He has managed a variety of small business development projects in Eastern Asia, as well as rural development projects with Native Americans in the United States.

The Last Lecture series is sponsored by the Quad Cities Research and Scholarship Symposium (QCRSS).
