Geology, Physics at WIU Hosting May 6 lecture

MACOMB, IL - University of Iowa Assistant Professor Ingrid Ukstins-Peate will deliver "Exploring the Ancient Climate of Mars (from Earth)" at 4 p.m. May 6 in Currens Hall.

The lecture is hosted jointly by Western Illinois University's geology and physics departments and is open free to the public.

Ukstins-Peate's research involves using a multi-disciplinary approach to understanding explosive volcanic, as well as planetary geology projects.
