WIU Department of English Hosting Open House Monday, Tuesday

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Department of English will host an open house Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 27-28 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. each day, on the first floor of Simpkins Hall.
The event will introduce students to what the department has to offer, including its student organizations (Game Studies, Writer's Block, Sigma Tau Delta and student-run magazines); majors (literature and language and English education); minors (film, creative writing, professional writing and queer studies) and talk about classes being offered for the Fall 2017 semester.
Faculty and students will be available to talk about getting involved with the English department, and snacks will be served.
