Food and Culture Club Hosting Cultural Event Oct. 12

MACOMB, IL – The Food and Culture Club in the Western Illinois University Department of Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality will host an informational presentation about the culture of Costa Rica from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 in the University Union Heritage Room.
The event will include a variety of speakers and a sampling of traditional Costa Rican recipes. Students can learn about a new culture, gain information about how to study abroad and sample a new cuisine.
