WIU Food Pantry: Updates and Cancellations Due to Coronavirus

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Food Pantry is taking into account the health and well-being of everyone during this time of the Coronavirus health risks and is going to adjust accordingly, while still providing food and resources to our campus community members in need.

Until further notice, the WIU Food Pantry will be open during the hours posted on our Facebook page. The hours for Thursdays, noon-5 p.m. and Saturdays, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. are suspended until further notice. Follow our Facebook page for more information; the times the Food Pantry will be operational can be found at facebook.com/wiufoodpantry.

The Food Insecurity Conference, hosted by the WIU Food Pantry, has been postponed until the Fall 2020 semester. This is due to the increased health risks, to protect the health and well-being of all. A date for the conference will be announced next semester.

The Dine to Donate night at Texas Roadhouse in Quincy has been postponed until the Fall 2020 semester. A new date will be announced next semester.

All other WIU Food Pantry events for this semester have been officially cancelled.
